Namibia opt to bowl; Michael van Lingen replaces Pikky Ya France

Namibia chose to bowl vs Netherlands

After being bowled out for their joint-lowest T20I total - 96 - batting first on Monday, Namibia opted to chase in Abu Dhabi. They made one change to their line-up from the team that was heavily defeated by Sri Lanka and replaced offspinner Pikky Ya France with left-arm seamer Michael van Lingen.

Netherlands have also made a change to their attack, with Brandon Glover sitting out for Timm van der Gugten, and a switch in their line-up. Former Northerns batter Stephan Myburgh, who last played for them in 2019, replaces Ben Cooper at the top of the order.

Both teams lost their opening matches of the tournament two days ago and although defeat here will not guarantee the end of their run, it would make it very difficult for them to progress to the Super 12s.

Namibia: 1 Stephan Baard, 2 Zane Green (wk), 3 Craig Williams, 4 Gerhard Erasmus (capt), 5 David Wiese, 6 JJ Smit, 7 Jan Frylinck, 8 Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton, 9 Ruben Trumpelmann, 10 Michael van Lingen, 11 Bernard Scholtz

Netherlands: 1 Max O'Dowd, 2 Stephan Myburgh, 3 Bas de Leede, 4 Colin Ackermann, 5 Ryan ten Doeschate, 6 Scott Edwards (wk), 7 Roelof van der Merwe, 8 Pieter Seelar (capt), 9 Logan van Beek, 10 Fred Klaasen, 11 Timm van der Gugten
