There may be a shortage of live action but there is no stopping what the ITTF World has in store for you! The #ITTFSmashBack hashtag has been a hit with fans, who see their favourite matches from previous years and this week it was an extra special one!

The birthday boy (read: Legend!) Vladimir Samsonov was featured in his first ever ITTF World Tour gold medal at the 1996 Italian Open. Feast your eyes on this true classic and celebrate where the Belarusian veteran’s legacy started!
