Nova Gorica, Slovenia, braces itself for an adrenaline-fuelled Day 6 at the ITTF World Youth Championships 2023, promising a flurry of captivating matches across multiple categories.

The day kicks off with the continuation of the singles matches, where the Round of 16 encounters across both U15 and U19 girls and boys categories promise intense battles on the courts. Following the exciting singles matches, the focus shifts to the much-awaited Doubles Semifinals across the U15 and U19 girls and boys categories. Amidst the exhilarating lineup, the spotlight shines brightest on the much-anticipated Mixed Doubles Finals. Will they leverage their recent success to halt the dominant force of Sun Yang and Yan Yutong?

In the U19 Mixed Doubles Final, all eyes are on the intriguing pairing of Izaac Quek and Annett Kaufmann, who gear up to challenge Chinas powerhouse duo, Lin Shidong and Kuai Man. Quek and Kaufmann, both having secured with medals in their respective doubles events, have displayed exceptional teamwork and prowess en route to the final. Can they capitalise on their momentum and go all the way, or will the favourites from China prove insurmountable?
