The film is called 4 Zéros, and is a sequel to a successful 3 Zéros, released in 2002.
According to French outlet Le Parisien, which first reported on Pogba's role in the film, the 31-year-old will play a youth team football coach.
Pogba's appeal for the doping charge will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and should his appeal be successful, his ban could be reduced.
