Body Boarding is similar to surfing in that waves are used to propel the
rider, but the similarities stop there. There are two main ways a body
board can be ridden : prone and dropknee. Prone is where the ride lies
on his/her stomach and leans into the wave with their inside arm.
Dropknee involves resting your weight on one knee and the other foot.
Body Boards are very maneuverable and are the perfect vehicles for
riding small barrels. Some tricks that body boarders perform are
spinners (a 360), El Rolls and the ARS (air roll spin).
